So some of you might know that I build things for shows, like booths at the auto show. My union is technically the sign and display union (a booth is a display), so we do all graphics too. This graphic was for something to do with 1970 and I thought I could alter it to go on the side of the Z like the BRE stripes they had, mine is 71' so I have to do that too. One side could have the year and the other side could just have altered strips, the Datsun emblem is on the side so these would go above and below it like the BRE graphics. I will add a BRE car pic to illustrate. I have the emblem not a vinyl "Datsun" so I would have to do it lower to use the stock location. Thoughts? Seems like it might be cool, but maybe not. I can always print it, stick it and if I don't like it, peel it. I might do a photochop mockup. That isn't my job at work so I will have to remember some things.

Speaking of things I want, see the right side mirror on the BRE car, it looks like it clips to the trim. Does anyone know a good one of these, I don't want to drill my door.

Ok that sounds positive. For 1971 I think the first 1 will have to go with the angle and then the 2nd 1 will as well to fit in. I will have to change it a bit but it can keep the overall design.

Those colors immediately brought to mind the old BMW CSL batmobiles more than BRE. Cool either way.

The colors have nothing to do with BRE, I just meant the location and the angle. I'll try to make a computer simulation.
